What we can do for you
Call-outs across Vincent, Berea, Nahoon, Beacon Bay and the surrounding suburbs, usually same or next day. Everything is quoted in writing before work starts.
Fault Finding & Repairs
A breaker that keeps tripping or a circuit that has gone dead has a cause, and finding it is most of the work. We test the circuit properly rather than swapping components until something changes, then tell you what we found and what it costs to put right before we do it.
Certificates of Compliance
A Certificate of Compliance is required when a property changes hands and whenever the installation has been altered. We inspect, list anything that does not comply, quote for the repairs, and issue the certificate once the work is done. We do not issue a certificate for an installation we have not inspected.
Distribution Boards
An old board with no earth leakage protection, or one that has been added to over the years without labelling, is both a safety problem and the first thing an inspection flags. We replace and upgrade boards, fit earth leakage protection, and label every circuit so the next person who opens it can tell what they are looking at.
New Circuits & Plug Points
Extra plug points where you actually need them, lighting circuits, outdoor and security lighting, and dedicated circuits for stoves, geysers and pool pumps. Correctly sized cable and a breaker rating that matches what will be plugged into it, which is the part that gets skipped.
Geyser & Appliance Connections
Fixed appliances need their own correctly rated circuit and protection, and a geyser needs isolation someone can actually reach. We wire and connect geysers, stoves, ovens, pool pumps and heat pumps, and we check the existing circuit can carry what is being added to it.
Backup Power Connections
An inverter or generator connected without proper changeover puts your supply onto the municipal line and puts anyone working on it at risk. We install correct changeover switching and isolation, size the connection to the load you want to keep running, and certify the work.
